Almost every UK property type can take one of our home lifts somewhere. The right spot depends on layout, not postcode.
Detached Homes
The most flexibility of any property type. A lounge corner, a stairwell void, or a cupboard-to-cupboard route are all realistic options.
Semi-Detached Homes
Very achievable. The Party Wall Act may apply if any work touches a shared wall, though many installations avoid this entirely. A survey will confirm.
Terraced and End-of-Terrace Homes
Narrower floor plans, but the compact footprint of a pneumatic vacuum lift or through-floor model is designed exactly for this. Front reception rooms and under-stair space are common choices.
Flats and Apartments
If you own the freehold or have the right permissions, internal installation is often possible. We'll talk you through what's realistic during your survey.
Listed buildings and conservation areas may need extra permissions. Internal work in most other homes typically doesn't require planning permission. Every property is different though, which is exactly why we always start with a free survey.
