Introduction
The Handicare outdoor stairlift is engineered to deliver reliable mobility across garden steps, terraces, and external multi-level entrances — even when the staircase includes bends or spirals.
Weather-Resistant Design
- Built with weatherproof materials to withstand external conditions.
- Zinc-plated or chrome-plated rails for corrosion resistance.
- UV-stable / UV-protected upholstery – resists fading from sun exposure.
- The Handicare outdoor stairlift features a water-resistant cover (IP44 rated) that protects the seat and powerpack when parked.
Bespoke Rail System for Curved Outdoor Stairs
- Utilises the twin-rail curved system (4000) — allows tight bends, spiral staircases, and corner turns.
- Custom-made to measure, matching the exact external staircase design.
Safety & Usability
- Fold-up seat, footrest, and armrests to reduce obstruction when not in use.
- Manual swivel seat for safe and easy dismount.
- Safety sensors detect obstructions and stop the lift.
- Comes with a retractable or Velcro seat belt for added security.
- Remote controls allow calling / parking the lift from different levels.
